All hands on deck.

Pryor!

Pryor coming in this weekend
Big news on the Terrelle Pryor front - he has changed his official visit date and will head to Ann Arbor this weekend (he was originally scheduled to come in just before signing day).

He has also decided to take a visit to LSU.

As far as LSU goes, Ryan Perrilloux was expected to have the job next year or two now that Matt Flynn is graduating. Perrilloux is a very talented dual-threat QB, so Pryor would likely find himself on the bench for next season - making LSU's presence in this process interesting.

The bump up in visit date puts a lot of pressure on Rich Rodriguez and his staff to wow Pryor immediately - I'm not sure whose idea it was to move the date up. With the original visit slated to go off just days before signing day, perhaps Michigan wanted to ensure that Pryor hadn't made up his mind before visiting. Or perhaps Pryor is increasingly unsure about where he'll go. Or maybe he's already decided. Who knows?

One thing I will offer as a possibility for the change: Pryor's Jeanette High hoops team plays Chester High in what is designated on Chester's bball website as a "Prime Time Event" on Feb. 1.

You can expect more on this between now and the end of the (suddenly huge) weekend.

Heh, interesting tidbit: If you click on the actual link that I provided, and then click on the first link located in the first paragraph ("he has changed his official visit date and will head to Ann Arbor this weekend"), that takes you to a post on the UMGoBlue message board with the news of Pryor bumping his visit up...a post started by yours truly.

Moving up in the world? You betcha.
